Azteca's tassels are made from aqua leather and raw henequen fiber from Yucatan, Mexico. These earrings feature handmade gold-plated hooks and gold plated hardware. Feature a square marble bead that is 5/8" long. Earrings are about 4 inches in total length. 
 
Earring bases are made using handloomed remnants from fabrics woven by Maya artisan weavers on a backstrap loom near Merida, Mexico using natural fibers endemic to the Yucatan region.  10% of proceeds from every sale go back to artisan communities to preserve traditional handcraft techniques used in the making of this item.
